About Us
Who We Are...
In 1991, eight concerned groups in Boston's Greater Grove Hall neighborhood (Roxbury/North Dorchester) who came together to form a collaborative to address the issues of youth on youth violence. Project RIGHT, Inc. (Rebuild and Improve Grove Hall Together) was established as an important strategy to increase the capacity of neighborhood resident groups and community based organizations to network and plan community driven activities to solve these and other problems that threatened disempowerment our neighborhoods. Project RIGHT, Inc. is a strong coalition of community based resident led, Grassroots Street Associations, Crime Watches, Social Service Agencies, Housing and Neighborhood Development Corporations, Churches, Youth and Senior Advocates and Service Providers, and the Businesses sector, within the greater Grove Hall Area of Boston Massachusetts.

What We Do...
Since Project R.I.G.H.T.'s inception, our mission has been to strengthen and coordinate existing services and programs for our community through grassroots organizing of neighborhood residents. It is with this spirit that the Project RIGHT, Inc. Collaborative, dedicates itself to provide support and assistance to our member groups. At present we have over forty (40) member organizations along with public officials represented in the collaborative. We facilitate community empowerment by recognizing and fostering each member's unique role and ability to improve and sustain the quality of life in our neighborhoods. We have created a vehicle for community organizers, seniors, newcomers, and frontline staff to dialogue and work together for mutual empowerment. It is our belief that the solutions to the potential impact of fear and violence on community revitalization and economic development can be designed from within our own community. The critical foundation of our success is the grassroots activism on the part of residents, coupled with strong and viable agencies that are and remain in touch with the needs of the community they serve.
“Dedicated to the communities we serve”

South Africa Visit
